The Inspiration
"Living Single" is a popular sitcom that aired from 1993 to 1998, featuring a group of vibrant and diverse characters living in a brownstone in Brooklyn, New York.
Khadijah James (Queen Latifah): Khadijah is the confident and ambitious owner of a successful urban lifestyle magazine called Flavor. She's a strong-willed, independent woman with a no-nonsense attitude and a great sense of humor
Synclaire James (Kim Coles): Synclaire is Khadijah's cousin and her complete opposite in many ways. She's the quirky, free-spirited, and often naive receptionist at Flavor. Synclaire is known for her colorful fashion sense and sweet, childlike personality.
