This has been a "Speed Dating" event since its inception in January of 2023. Since it is still evolving and we see the trends happening - this is now being touted as a Singles Event with some elements of Speed Dating.

First - What is Speed Dating?

Speed dating is a formalized matchmaking process which has the purpose of encouraging eligible singles to meet large numbers of new potential partners in a very short period of time.

I match by ages and you have about 6 to 7 minutes (when I say, "Go" ) to talk to the person. It's casual, fun, safe, monitored (No one is listening - Just always making sure everyone feels safe) - and when the cow bell dings, it's time to switch. It goes by very quickly and is a lot of fun!

This is so much more fun and WAY better than online dating apps.

You meet someone "RIGHT NOW" and no more wondering "Are they real? Is this a bot? Does their profile pic match the real them?" etc -

And IF you should hit it off with someone - by all means - go get dessert together!

Some times the group is more men than ladies or more ladies then men and the ages do not line up and that's fine. We have been having what I call an open "Round Robin" of questions that are asked -

Questions like -

"What's the craziest or more interesting online experience you have had?"

"Is there a trend you would like to see return?" Stuff like that.

IN the speed dating portion - I do give questions so that you have talking points so there is no awkward silence.

Some details to keep in mind:

This is for ages 45 and older - Only, PLEASE -

The event itself starts around 6:00 pm. If there are enough people that I can pair up, I will start as promptly as possible. If you arrive late, no worries, you may have to hang in the wings until the current round is over.

Happy Hour starts at 5:30 pm.

The event will go on even if there are 2 registered (1 male and 1 female)

AFTER all groups are completed - we will all gather for a final round robin. This usually consists of 3 or 4 questions that are light and fun. Afterwards, there is JENGA and conversation and libation and vittles. Social time ... Music (whatever I can get going on my pandora or YouTube) -

If there are a varying ages - we will turn it into a singles event and do a group of round robbin of questions (And there is Jenga ...)

For everyone who attends the first time, you are given a secure pass to attend the next month on me. You are emailed a private registration because you will be on the "VIP" list. Please make sure you are signing up with an email that you tend to check.
