Hey, are you a single looking to meet new people in NYC? Check out WeekendDating! We've been around since 2003 and have helped over 85 married couples (and counting) find love. They've got speed dating events where you can go on up to 15 dates in one night, but make sure you bring proof of age with you. Plus, there's a two-item minimum purchase required (food or drink).

You might be wondering what happens at these speed dating events. Well, they ask that you arrive 15-30 minutes early so you can get settled, order a drink, and get ready for a fun night. Showing up right when things start can make you a little nervous, so it's good to give yourself some time to get comfortable.

But don't worry about feeling uncomfortable - it's like jumping into a cold pool of water. At first, it's a little chilly, but you quickly warm up and start enjoying yourself. After each round of speed dating, you'll get a chance to make your selection on the scorecard and jot down some notes about the person you just met. The ladies stay seated and the men rotate over, and then you make your selection on your scorecard.

At the end of the night, you turn in your scorecard and within 12 hours (sometimes even sooner), you'll get the match results. You'll get both mutual matches (where you both picked each other) and one-way matches (where you know who was interested in you, so you have a second chance to reach out if you choose).
