Welcome to 48-60 Speed Dating, an exciting and innovative way for singles to meet new people and build meaningful connections—all over a warm cup of coffee!

This event is designed to foster a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where participants can engage in short, lively conversations with multiple individuals in a short span of time. You'll go on a series of up to 10 dates that last 6 minutes each, making this speed dating event fun and efficient.

Coffee provided by locally owned Hallowed Grounds. The purchase of coffee is not required to participate in this event.

About Church & State

Church & State is a historic church in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah that was converted into an event venue and business incubator:

History

The original Central Christian Church was built in 1893, but burned down in the 1950s and rebuilt in 1955. In 2014, the church was sold and converted into Church & State, a business incubator and event space. This church was built three years before Utah became a state in 1896.

Design

The venue features the church's original stained glass windows and handcrafted arches, along with modern industrial elements.

The 3,500 sq ft chapel is a versatile space for events.

Business incubator

Church & State offers co-working spaces, retail rentals, and event rentals. The venue aims to support entrepreneurs and startups by aligning public and private resources.
